124 Sir William Wallace August 1957  Permission to use this photograph has been given by Tom Bower c/o Brendan Odell. The photograph was taken on the deck of the Sir William Wallace in August 1957. The yellow car is a DWK and was owned by Tom Bower, the picture shows Mrs Laura Bower, and the Bower's daughter Dorothy. The car is now in New Zealand and regularly driven by its current owner Brendan Odell.

134 1964 Last day of the Ferries.  Permission to use this excellent image of the four ferries has been given by Robert McCulloch. The photograph was taken on the day the ferries ceased to operate in 1964, by his mother. Coincidentally she was also a member of the crew on one of the ferries and her maiden name (Miss Ailes) appears in the Crew List (Crew 7) which can be found in this website.NEW
